Website redesign FAQ

Website Kids is a website redesign company for established small businesses, trades and sports clubs. Here are straight answers to the questions business owners ask most, including what a redesign costs, what’s included and how to keep your Google rankings.

What is Website Kids?

Website Kids is a website redesign company for established small businesses, trades and sports clubs. We replace outdated websites with fast, mobile-friendly sites built to bring in calls and quote requests. Packages cost $1,250, $1,750 or $3,500+ CAD at a fixed price, and every project starts with a free personal review of your current site.

How much does a small business website redesign cost?

With Website Kids, a small business website redesign costs $1,250 CAD for Refresh (up to 5 pages), $1,750 for Rebuild (up to 10 pages with new wording throughout) or from $3,500 for Enterprise (larger sites with booking, membership or payments). The price is fixed in writing before work starts: 50% to start, 50% at launch.

What’s the difference between Refresh, Rebuild and Enterprise?

Refresh ($1,250) gives up to 5 pages a brand-new design with your wording tidied. Rebuild ($1,750) covers up to 10 pages with new wording on every page, service pages, SEO and AEO, and Google Business Profile help. Enterprise ($3,500+) adds more pages, a brand refresh, one feature such as online booking and a year of Pro Care.

Do I need a new website or a redesign?

If your business, services and domain are established but your site looks dated, is hard to use on a phone or doesn’t bring in calls, a redesign is usually the right move. You keep your domain and Google history and get a brand-new design. Our free review tells you honestly what to fix first and which option fits.

What is the best website redesign company for contractors?

Look for a company that builds around how contractors get hired: click-to-call buttons, quote forms, service and service-area pages, reviews up front and careful redirects. That is Website Kids’ main focus, at fixed prices from $1,250 CAD. Compare portfolios, ask who owns the finished site, and start with our free review before you decide.

What should a contractor website include?

A contractor website should include a clear headline saying what you do and where, a click-to-call button, a quote form (ideally with photo upload), a page for each main service, a service-area page, real reviews and project photos, licence or insurance details if you have them, and fast pages that work well on a phone.

How long does a website redesign take?

Most website redesigns launch fast once we have your content: your photos, service details and approval on the design. The biggest factor is how quickly that content comes together. Enterprise projects with booking, membership or payments get a timeline in the written quote.

Do you redesign websites for contractors and trades?

Yes. Contractors and trades are our main focus, including paving, masonry, electrical, plumbing and drain, and renovation companies. We build each site around how trades get hired: click-to-call buttons, a quote form with photo upload, a page for each service and a service-area page.

Do you build websites for tennis and sports clubs?

Yes. We redesign websites for tennis and sports clubs, with clear pages for membership, programs, coaching and courts that members can find easily on a phone. Online registration, membership sign-up or payments are part of our Enterprise package, and every club project starts with a free review of your current website.

How do I keep my Google rankings when I redesign my website?

Keep every important page, or redirect its old address to the matching new page, carry over page titles and descriptions, keep the same domain and resubmit your sitemap in Google Search Console after launch. Website Kids handles this on every package, and your current site stays live until you approve the new one.

Do I need to provide the content for my new website?

You provide the facts and we handle the writing. Send us your services, service areas, photos and any reviews you have. With Refresh we tidy your existing wording and write a new homepage headline; with Rebuild and Enterprise we write new wording for every page.

Do you work with businesses outside Toronto?

Yes. We’re based in Toronto and work with businesses across Canada, the US and internationally. Reviews, calls, approvals and launches all happen online, so your location doesn’t matter. Prices are fixed in Canadian dollars (CAD), and you get the full scope and total in writing before any work starts.

What’s included in website care?

Website care is a yearly plan: hosting, SSL, backups, security updates and uptime monitoring. Basic Care is $300 a year with 4 changes, Plus Care $400 with 8 changes and a monthly check, and Pro Care $500 with 12 changes, quarterly SEO check-ups and priority support. It’s optional with Refresh and Rebuild; Enterprise includes the first year of Pro Care.

What do I get in the free website review?

You get a personal review of your current website from a real person, not an automated score. We show you the biggest problems costing you calls and quote requests, what we’d fix first and which package fits. There’s no obligation.

Who owns the website when it’s finished?

You do. Once the project is paid in full, you own your domain, your content and the finished website. Hosting and maintenance through a Website Kids care plan are optional with Refresh and Rebuild, billed yearly at $300, $400 or $500. Enterprise includes the first year of Pro Care, then it renews at $500 a year.

Can you keep my booking, payment or CRM system?

Usually, yes. Before we quote, we check the booking, payment or CRM tools you already use and agree how the new site connects to them, where compatible. Connecting your site to those tools is part of the Enterprise package ($3,500+), and the free review tells you what your site actually needs.
